Nationally touring comedian and homegrown funny man Will Abeles returns to Hagerstown to make his Maryland Theatre Ballroom debut. Known for his intricate storytelling and ridiculous antics, Will released his first comedy special in 2023 on YouTube titled "The Pride of Hagerstown." The album portion of the same name debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts. Will moved to Nashville from New York in January of 2021 and by October of the same year was voted the third best comic in Nashville behind Nate Bargatze. Previously, Will's debut comedy album "Regrets of My Father" also premiered at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts in 2017. Alongside comedy, Will's worked for The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Emmy Awards and the 71st and 72nd Academy Awards.
Joining Will on this homecoming evening are fellow Nashville based comedians Drew Harrison and Brandon Jarrell as well as local favorite Sam Cobb. Drew Harrison is a regular opener for Netflix's Dusty Slay and has his own special titled "Based on a Drew Story." Brandon Jarrell is one of Nashville's fastest rising stars and was a standout performer at both the Asheville Comedy Festival and the North Carolina Comedy Festival. Sam Cobb, a Hagerstown native, performs regularly at clubs in Washington DC and Virginia.
